The ILTER-EAP has been acting to develop networks of LTER science, promote data sharing, enhance research collaborations and building capacity between research groups and networks, and bridge gaps between societal needs and scientific imperatives on concerns in the East Asia and Pacific region.

Homed at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Research Center is China’s first comprehensive institution focused on eco-environmental science and technology.
