About the Event
After years of cross-regional collaboration spanning seven world regions, the NATURA network invites researchers, practitioners, and urban leaders to celebrate the official launch of the Global Roadmap for Urban Nature-based Solutions.
This comprehensive series of global and regional reports assesses the state of current knowledge and practice, charting clear pathways for cities to harness nature-based solutions (NBS) for climate resilience, equity, and sustainability.

Development of the Global Roadmap was co-led by Dr. Timon McPhearson and Dr. Loan Diep at New York University's Urban Systems Lab in partnership with universities, research institutes, and practitioner networks across Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East and North Africa, Oceania, and US-Canada. More than 80 authors and collaborators from these institutions contributed to the regional assessments and global synthesis.
